The Piano and its Perspectives (110th Edition, November 25, 2022), with Leo de María
Extension project of EMAC, Dean of Extension and Research and Digital Dean of UFG together with Mississippi State University and Universidad del Atlántico, whose main objective is to bring information about culture in society to the entire community.
Leo de María (1995) is recognized as one of the world’s greatest piano performers of his generation. He studied with Leonel Morales and is currently under the tutelage of Pavel Gililov at the Mozarteum University in Salzburg (Austria). He has over 30 National and International awards.
He is an artist for the internationally endorsed concert agencies CHONGQING PERFORMANCE and MUSIESPAÑA.
In Spain, he collaborated with the Yehudi Menuhin Foundation in the presence of Her Majesty the Queen Mother Doña Sofía, among several other internationally renowned institutions. He is Professor of Musical Arts in Madrid and at the Faculty of Music and Performing Arts at the Alfonso X El Sabio University in Madrid. He is also invited every year to teach master classes at The Hotchkiss School Summer Portals in Connecticut, USA.
